Arch Ship Management LLP, India, a ship management, inspections and certification firm has tied up with Carbon Positive, Greece to market their Maritime Emissions Monitoring and Reduction programs for Ships and Ports in the South East Asia and Middle East regions.

The international Maritime fraternity has been, over the past few years, streamlining procedures and structuring regulations to check air emissions that occur as a result of merchant marine vessels plying the seas. It is believed that the maritime carbon emissions originating from the world’s 20 largest ships is equivalent to the carbon emissions originating from all the cars in the world put together!

Capt. Samarth Singh from Arch Ship Management LLP will represent the company’s marketing efforts to ensure countries in the South East Asian region are well aware of the parameters of the Carbon Positive program. Carbon Positive’s programs are built around three basic steps, Measure, Monitor and Offset.
